I'm so shocked right now.  I finally gathered the courage to tell my girlfriend and she's completely supportive.  I'm still in a state of shock over that!

Congrats on taking such a major step for your own well being. I have a good idea of the anguish you must have put yourself through to this the right way.

In the past for me it usually came out after massive amounts of adult beverage by us both and a round of "I have a worse/dirtier secret than you".

That is amazing news - all too often we hear the horror stories of rejection and shame, and it's so nice to hear that there are great people out there who support us.  And when it happens, it's like winning the lottery, isn't it?

Take good care of her!

I'm very glad things are going in such a positive direction for you!  And I must say that I'm very happy to hear that your girlfriend is okay with everything.  Let's hope the positive developments keep on coming! :)

You must be living right.  It sounds like you picked a winner.  Take good care of her; she'll take good care of you.

So, so happy for you, and proud of you for coming out to her. She sounds like a wonderful loving, understanding person, just like you, sis. :)

Congratulations :)

I'm glad someone else got good news too. My boyfriend was completely understanding when I told him so I know the feeling. Congrats again:)

I'm in the same boat as Phoenix Asher. I told my boyfriend Li (His name here) as soon as he proposed starting up this kind of relationship. I'd always told myself I would. It's great when they accept you isn't it? ^~^ I'm glad it worked out for you!

While it';s scary perhaps, it's always best to be honest about it. It'd be harder and scarrier after you're too far in or married. Great job and congratz! ^~^

I'm so happy for you! Kudos to you for having the bravery to take those first steps and a BIG kudos to her for being an angel!

I too am one of the lucky ones with a super-supportive SO, and my heart breaks for those who aren't as fortunate as us; never forget how lucky we are!

Yeah, I agree completely. It's hard enough, so having someone supportive can be the best thing in the world.
