Band of Brothers

I'm watching "Band of Brothers" for probably the 5th or 6th time.  This has got to be one of the most compelling series I have ever watched.  I have a special place for it in my heart as I trained with the 101st several times while serving my country.  The portrayals, commentaries, even the sound track often leave a lump in my throat.

I love Band Of Brothers.  I've always been a sucker for WWII history, which was sparked after visiting the beachheads and Memorial Cemetary at Normandy.  I read the book Band of Brothers long before I saw the mini-series, but I think the series was wonderfully put together.  Soundtrack, cast, special effects, commentaries... everything was wonderful.

The first time I saw it was when it came on The History Channel in April of '04.  My girfriend at the time & I were anxious to watch each night.  However, the night the last episode aired was the night my transition started.  My gf confronted me about seeing susans.org on my computer and WWIII broke out from there.  We didn't catch the show
