Is there a way to calculate height? I've read about a few people who were given hormone treatment say 11-12 and they usually give their height then what was expected if they didn't ect I started hrt at 15 and I was 6 ft which I still am now, just wondering was I expected to grow anymore

Yeah absolutely ^-^ Before i started hrt, we went to a doctor who measured my hands or something to see how much i would grow. He said i would grow to 5'10 which is the average height for males in my family. But i stopped growing at 5'6. Im almost in the same range with my mother and sister. But still.. Even as a short girl i ended up with 16.5 inch shoulders >:((which are really wide for my frame :'(). That means Hrt does not always mean petite short girl(even as a young teen). Genetics play a bigger role(sadly).

You sweet thing!  It does my heart good to see people having access to appropriate treatment for our crazy situation before irreversible damage from the wrong hormones has occurred. Although I started transition at 19 (in 1973!), I wasn't able to get access to legal, supervised HRT until I was in my early 20s.  Fortunately for me, I was blessed with soft neutral features and I responded well to HRT but many are not so lucky.

Anyway, good for you - and celebrate & enjoy your glorious height!  I used to be 5'11" and I never hesitated to wear higher heels - platforms & high wedges were the s**t in the 70s  :D.  Now, with the onset of old age plus a back injury I'm just over 5'9" and I rarely wear stilletos anymore.

Best,
Carol
