wig help

So, I'm temporarily a cross dresser. Until I transition.
I go out with friends as Chelsea.
I wonder if anyone has any advice on wigs. Right now, I have a cheap one ($15 at an online store). It has only been noticed by one person, most of my friends say it looks very real.
my issue is that it moves so much. Is there something I can do to fix this, and what are the two straps with the clips for? They are located under the wig. Let me know if you can help!

There is a double sided thing called wig tape. That might be worth checking into.
