oral estradiol + oral prednisone interactions?

I'm having a pretty awful ulcerative colitis flare up, and my doctor prescribed me prednisone.

I searched online and got mixed information on whether or not prednisone interacts with oral estradiol. Does anybody have any experience with this? Should I just take the prednisone like 6 hours apart from my estradiol to avoid such interactions if they exist?

prednisone + estradiol

    prednisone will decrease the level or effect of estradiol by affecting hepatic/intestinal enzyme CYP3A4 metabolism. Significant interaction possible, monitor closely.
