For the last few days I've noticed that my "breast buds" have become less sensitive and also kind of shrunk... I'm worried that maybe I need a higher dose or my body is fighting it because it's almost not sore at all and not as swollen or sticking out as it has been for the last few months... It also has me worried about what ELSE might be reversing...Almost like it's going back to being nothing.. I haven't skipped any doses...

Has anyone experienced this?

Is there any chance that rather than shrinking the outsiders have caught up with the pokey bit? I get this where there seems to be a spurt of achy pokey growth then a less sensitive stage whilst the growth spreads out sideways rather than forwards then some more pokey growth. There hasn't been more than two weeks of non-achy growth.

Well that was fun! What's next?

I emailed my Endo regardless because my overall fear isn't really lacking breasts (despite desperately wanting them already) but just my fear that anything ELSE might revert... I don't want 3 months going to waste.

I haven't noticed any other type of growth other than what I've had for the last month or so. Just quarter sized breast buds and swollen nipples that were always sore.. Now there is very little soreness, and the breast buds feel less than quarter sized... But overall same shape and size in both length and width

my nipple pain comes and goes. It kind of freaks me out when it's not there

I have been on HRT for just a little less than 3 months. I have had couple times of several days of nothing. But right now going through not being able to sleep on my stomach because OUCH!!!. I do admit I roll on to my stomach just to feel them. I have gone through some worries as well that I will wake up some morning and they just went away. I have been looking at the  TG tanner stages of breast growth and I am definitely at Stage 2 and moving towards a 3. Just as a side note I am 54 yrs old and on 1 dose of E a day but Dr is upping  me to same dosage  but twice a day.  http://andreaportman.tripod.com/tannerstages.html. We are all different but give it a little time you are still young.

Best wishes

For me it seems to happen in fits and starts. Sometimes it is painful, other times it isn't, sometimes they seem to grow quickly other times they seem to reduce a bit. The thing is the overall size just continues to increase.
15 years on Susans, where has all the time gone?

Can't tell you how many times my breasts ache and then out of nowhere stop aching in the two years I've been on hrt. Honestly it probably isn't anything to be concerned about, it's a part of growing boobs, the pain doesn't stay constant.  Now if you feel something is off like possibly your T is rising then yeah definitely get that checked out. Cause that happened to me, it was scary.

Yep, that's normal; as others are saying, both the pain and the buds/pokiness will wax and wane, but overall growth is still continuing. I personally think that breast tissue has "resting" cycles where it's preparing for the next round, and I've literally woken up one morning with them poky and gone to bed with them soft and spreading. (As time went on, those resting cycles also seemed to coincide with fat depositing there, which makes sense.) I also never had the kind of pain people describe - achy occasionally, slightly sore, often really ITCHY - and I've had consistent and excellent development all the same.

Bear in mind, too, that the bigger they get, the less dramatic the growth will seem. Adding 1/10th of a cup size looks really obvious when you're starting from zero, after all, and barely noticeable building on a C cup. And so on.
