I have been on estrogen for the past 21 months and my breast development has exploded. I am now fully a C+ cup. My hips and butt area are also developing nicely and overall I am surprised how quickly these changes have occurred. I really like the results but I am feeling very self conscious. These perky breasts seem a little out of place on a 36 year old. I notice that my body resembles more that of a teenager than women my age. Is this normal and will my body even out over time? My endocrinologist says I should be happy with the results since some never reach this stage at my age.

Welcome, Suzi :)
One part of HRT is that we will age better than cis-gender counterparts. I keep looking at my colleagues and we are all around the same age bracket, but my skin is better than theirs, some parts are tighter and more bouncy, lol, and some other minor stuff, like healthier hair/eyebrows and having longer eyelashes (ok, that came with male package, lol).  Anyway, HRT is a sort of second puberty so yeah, we will look younger than any other woman of our age.
And I am quite curious about timing when Your bewbs exploded - was it recently (I still hate You, of course, - this is Your first post here and You already come with SUCH forward development, but, please, I wanna know - ok, just kiddin' about "hate" part :) ).

Hoping this 2nd puberty thing really pans out for its rumored youthfulness bounty.

One thing I have been wondering though lately, (and I was thinking about posting a separate thread about this) is what effect if any does HRT have on M2F lifespans. I haven't seen any statistics since we are so obscure as a study population.

I can't speak of the SRS aspect of transition, but I'm also curious if there's any long term consequences far down the line related to that as well.

I am not really sure, but I suspect that we all are gonna die eventually.

The trouble is average lifespans for trans women are going to be be somewhat skewed by the higher suicide rate for us compared to cis gendered women.

I'm 35, but after only a couple months have been told I look late 20's. I'll be happy if I can hit mid 20's, but won't get too greedy haha.

So this is a common trend then :)

My growth and changes have come in spurts. The latest came 3 months ago. Breast buds occurred in first 4 weeks and development first leveled off after six months. Since then there have been two periods of growth that is usually a bit painful. I had no idea what to expect.

Nothing happened to me the first couple weeks, then I woke up one morning and was like "WUT? where'd these come from?" :D

It's normal for you, and your breasts will likely become less perky with time. Just like some cis teenage girls see that happen in a couple years and some are still perky when they *are* 36, though, it's hard to predict when that will be.

(I had similar development, and it's only now, around 4 years on HRT, that my boobs are softening and looking more "normal" for my age. I started at 32, and I'm 42DDD now.)

Question.  How much of it is us aging better OR now just truly being free of the stress of not being exactly in the right part of the gender spectrum. I'm not saying they are magic and hormones will eradicate everything going wrong in our lives. But when it is the major burden finding the right balance can help in reliving a major burden in your life that could of been a factor for the stress in your life when once gone is helping you to find happiness which can make people look younger

Imsuzi give it time puberty comes in spurts your body should even out patience is the one thing we need in this but we can't seem to have. Oh and can I say I'm jealous of your development please congratulations
Do not fear those who have nothing left to lose, fear those who are prepared to lose it all

HRT reconditions skin. Also, subcutaneous fat smooths out wrinkles. Happiness also makes a person look younger.
