Ever have a moment when you realize you're probably the most negative person in your life? I just had to go back to the mental hospital for another 3 weeks, while I was there I think of come to a conclusion. I can be such a happy person most of the time and so many people genuninely say they  love being around me, but I get stuck on tiny details and turn them into huge dramas. I want to stop doing this and be Happy Kat all the time. I hope that if I keep doing happy things It'll stick some day anyway that's my mini rant/realization.
My goal is to start looking at the positives I have in my life cause I'm really blessed with so many and to stop being so selfish. I have a family that fully supports what I'm doing, my dad's even considering going to tialand when I can afford SRS, even though he really doesn't understand fully, but he wants to see me happy. And I'm sick of seeing my mom cry because I'm sad.
I want to be a positive and happy Katherine who wants to be alive, do you guys think I can do it?

That's the BEST time to do it! *giggle* As the great Obi-Wan Kenobi said "Let go of your conscious self and embrace the yarn"!  ;D Go crazy and let yourself be a girl full of life and spontaneity. Of course I may be off on that quote a little. Wasn't that the Movie where Hannah Solo said " Were losing a Dysphoria shield! Go strap yourselves on I am going to make the jump to hyper trans"!  ;D <someone's had to much caffeine this morning>

I hope all of this is relevant for you: First, use the tools that you were given during the three weeks that you were away and use them. During that time, you were taught some very valuable skills. Now is the time to start putting them to use. One of those things is to stop beating yourself up. Your past is your past. Nothing, absolutely nothing that you do now can change that. So let that part go. Stop ruminating on the past. The future isn't really that relevant either. By focusing too much on the future, you miss out on what you could be and should be doing and enjoying now. Much like the past, the future is going to happen on its own and by planning to much for the future will bog you down with details that will overcome you right now (i.e.: trip to Thailand). Start to and learn to accept love and acceptance and stop rejecting them. You are obviously surrounded by this. So many of us are not. Seize this gift that you have been given.
And my standard advice for all: My best friend in the world is Charlie Brown. He's my true soul mate. He's saved my life. Changed my outlook on life. My companion. I've made a vow to him to never let any harm come to him. Ever. Never. He's my dog. I encourage everyone who doesn't have one to get one. Observe them. They have undying love and devotion. They also have no concept of yesterday. No concept of tomorrow. They live for today. They enjoy the moment and live life to the fullest. And he is happy as can be. That's what he's taught me. I try my best to emulate him.
Just focus on today. Surround yourself with positive things. Eliminate the negative. Everything comes together on it's own.

Thank you again everyone. I'm really focusing on positives and pushing away negatives. I'm sick of giving power to negative thoughts and letting them ruin my life.
