For the first time in my life (that I can remember), I have fully passed as male. In church of all places! My mom drags me to this church where everyone is the hugging type, and well, there are people hugging everyone and this guy came up to my family and gave my mom and sisters big hugs and said, "Nice to see you, ladies," and then he nodded at me and shook my hand and have the side hug most guys do. :p

After the service another guy did that and my mom noticed. Of course she had to make a point of saying, "These are my daughters." And then gave him my birthname. But it's alright. I'm just excited I passed. I can pass!

I just thought id share some good news here with you guys.

Congrats! That's excellent!

Drives me nuts when people go "nah that's a girl" to me, confuses most people more than anything I think. Haha. Kudos!

Thank you both. And yeah! The guy at the end just stared at us with a confused look on his face and then we walked away. XD

And Eva, I don't blame them right now because I haven't exactly *come out* yet...but I think that talk needs to happen soon...they're figuring it out themselves

I'm imagining an alternate universe where you roll your eyes at that point and say, "see, she can't even get my name right!"

Yeah, it probably works better in a sit-com, but it would be really cool if you could do it in RL.

Oh so my mom isn't the only one to do that, spoiling the times I pass  :(

Anyway I'm really happy for you  ;)
I think it didn't bother you just because it was one of the first times you pass, so you are hyper about it and it's a great thing  ;D then little by little you'll start to get stressed by those things... At least, I do.
What does my gender identity has to do with my pizza order?

I have to spoil my own passing. This morning the SSI person was calling for a phone meeting. And she askes who I am, I tell her "This is Ronald!" (I dislike that name -.-) anyway, I give her the info like birthday and such and she asks again. "Is this his sister?" Now I was thrilled that voice wise I passed so well she had to keep asking, but because I had to go forth with the meeting, I had to spoil my own passing. Happens all the time with doctors office calls, etc. dang it =(

Oh Rayne I understand, for legal/official stuff I sometimes have to do the same. And I damn hate it. :(

oh great. congrats!
first of all, for me it´was also really important to pass as female.

after almost 1 year in hrt it´s almost done :)

after those positive experiences, it makes the last step, change your identity officially, really easy.
