Dr Brassard - End Sept 2014

I'll be travelling from the UK for GRS with Dr's B&B ... my surgery date is Sept 30th 2014.

I wonder who else might be there at the same time?

Not there for the surgery, mine done April 2013 but i live in Montreal and can stop by and offer support if you need.

The staff is so great there and you will be in great hands.

I will second Izzy's comment about the staff, I just had mine on May 21, 2014; so am still deep in recovery  / aftercare. But I can not speak highly enough about the nurses and support staff.

My date so far is October 7 and it's pretty set in stone! Maybe I will see you recovering 🙂

We might pass like ships in the night ... I fly home from the "aftercare" centre (all things going well) on the 8th and I would guess you might not get there till the day after your procedure?

Well done. Dr Brassard referred to me as his 'English patient' and I felt like I was the Queen of Canada for my time there. You will not be disappointed, I can assure you.

Lol mine is nov 24 and i am already counting the days. They are definitly not going fast enough. Might be due to the 17 years of transitioning preceded by 22 years of non acceptance. My brain is currently in overdrive.

My original date was June 16th, but my father passed away and his funeral was June 3rd.  I am so glad that Suzanne was able to reschedule me for this time, September 24th...

I have you on my calendar and its a good time so will sure be nice to see you and maybe can head out for lunch on the day before your big day.

I know the count down is hard, just keep busy and make sure you are ready for your return home and the aftercare life.

JourneyingSam as of this moment it does not look like i will be around that last week in September and October.

But if something changes i will be sure to stop around and catch up. Tammy is there the week before so she will still be around when you get there.
