short funny story about my male privledge

I bought a cup of coffee a couple of days ago at a coffee shop in male persona then today as my true self same store same employee, the male persona got charged a $ 1.89 , true self $ 1.20 same size same manager. Kind of weird. I guess my male privilege got screwed

Chivalry as misogyny. Men giving you small recompense to justify their economic power. When they pay you the same for the same work and qualifications, then it's actually relinquishing male privilege.

Maybe the worker just over-charged you a couple days ago, got corrected by someone and charged you the correct price today?

That's odd indeed...
Though I notice that if I pass as male people tend to trust me less, charge me more, and especially girls are less chatty (when I want to talk they give me a "piss off kiddo. I aint interested" look). Also when I want to take a pee in a restaurant or shop I now almost always have to buy something, whilst as a girl I never had to (I always ask).
Some things are weird in this world, lol. Not that I mind, I hated to have 'advantages' "because I am a girl", cause I am not, but still it's odd, lol.

easier to do in person customer service as female... returning things, getting discounts, etc.

IDK, but I seem to be treated better by the police as male. I like it so far.

it's not a big deal on the scale of life changing moments it was just weird. It wasn't a mistake though because it was the manager that did it.
