Alright so! I've seen a lot of mixed answers about peach fuzz and whither or not to shave it off! First off! I've always had that super light skin coloured peach fuzz. But, now since I've started Testosterone a month and a half ago, it's grown longer. I know shaving isn't going to make it course or dark or any of that. That's all just a myth but, will I naturally lose my peach fuzz? Or should I just shave it off? I'm growing some dark hairs on my chin already. I just don't want my face to look hella round. Don't get me wrong I'm not a heavy set guy.

So what I'm really trying to ask is: Should I shave my peach fuzz so my face doesn't look super rounded or will I lose it once facial hair starts growing in more substantially? :^)

Peach fuzz is just hair that isn't thick/ dark yet. It does end up looking kind of fem since women have it but it is up to you. Some people like the shaving ritual.

Personally, I waited way too long for it to grow to shave it off now.

I shaved regularly until my facial hair looked fairly reasonable. But I was in my forties; a lot of younger guys can get away with not shaving it off because then they just look like young cis guys. I'd say just do what makes you comfortable.

Do be aware that some guys might tease you if you leave the peach fuzz. But if you're okay with what you have, to hell with 'em.

Thanks for the quick replies! I pose as a cisgendered male on the internet and I'm going to see some of my friends from California in about a month. I'm 20 years old but im wondering if Cis dudes in their 20's have any peach fuzz :^(. I'm pretty sure they don't.

I shaved for about a month and a half (the peach fuzz) and ended up letting it go for this last month and actually I'm noticing that as the peach fuzz is growing a good amount of it is darkening and thickening as time goes on.
I noticed this also with my leg hair. I never really shaved above my knee so I had long very light hair from top of my leg to my knees. Well over the last almost 4 months it's darkened and gotten a bit thicker so I just thought my face should do the same and was pleasantly surprised when I was proven right. Of course right now it's a mix of light hair and small patches of dark but I'm ok with that haha

My son is 25 and still has part peach fuzz on his face. Sadly, so do I.

Thanks KAT! I had seen a lot of places saying "bio dudes don't have peach fuzz. You should shave it off if you want to pass." I already pass but, I'm still waiting for the peach fuzz to turn into the real thing. I rub my face everyday for some blood flow and it's been working pretty steadily. I've got quite a few soft dark hairs under my chin, soul patch and mustache ',B^)! Not too keen on the mustache though.
