Imsuzi,

Conduct yourself as if you never noticed. You could very well be wrong.

I second that idea Lord Kat.  I think things are changing and more people are coming out and staying home in rural areas.  The transmen i know are completely passable.  When one friend first showed up at our trans support group I was quietly annoyed and wondering why this straight guy was there.  Suspending disbelief is not just for sci-fi movies ;)
Open, out and evolving queer trans person forever with HRT support since March 13, 2013

Back when I was a sweet young thing working in a bookshop, a couple of T-girls came in one day.  Talk about being in denial.  I didn't want to admit it to myself: "Hey! That's what I am!"  Talk about missed opportunities.  Maybe I could have made a couple of friends and started living my life long before I did.

Anyway, fast forward several decades, once I decided to start looking for other transpeople, I found quite a few of them.  Currently I have two good girlfriends.  We all live in different towns, but we manage to get together fairly often, and we've had some good times together.  I modestly call us, "The Awesome Threesome".

As I've always said, We transpeople are like cockroaches.  We're everywhere and you can't get rid of us.
