Hey,

As the title implies, am looking for any experience any of you girls have had with Facial Team. It all seems to be ok wherever I look into it, any thoughts?

I also looked into it and considered them an option, I know a friend of a friend who went there and all went smoothly, I just chose another surgeon instead, they're a safe bet I think, sorry I cant give you more info, just all I know!

I've been doing a lot of reading / searching on them and haven't really found any complaints. The before and afters I've seen (and they openly have a lot of them, which is a refreshing change from most surgeons) are amazing, to me. The one thing I seem to have trouble finding is how much they tend to charge and if they have any financing options; I suppose it would be easiest to just send them some photos and find out.

But to reiterate, I haven't heard any complaints.
Why do I always write such incredibly long posts?

I haven't seen any complaints, but I haven't dug all that deep yet. I saw their web site http://www.facialteam.com and "The Video"  and I MUST SAY I find them so likable and professional. I think the results that are posted speak volumes about their talent, I just wish there were more firsthand accounts of their work here in North America...   I underwent full FFS with Lazaro Cardenas in Guadalajara but considering a revision with Facial Team or DiMaggio. I would go to Cardenas for the revision but I'm not feeling exactly confident in his type III forehead abilities as there are NO ACTUAL ACCOUNTS of his work out there on the internet.  -J

Hey there,

Actually I've been in contact with them for a while and asking a few questions every so and so. I think they are about 20% to 30% more expensive than DMD. The financing options they offered is to receive money from the client over time until they reach the budget. Kind of like a clay piggy. The quotation was rather standard, on a separate PDF document a couple pages long, with a some detailed info about what is included or not (hey, it's not always the case), the list of procedures, a 3-4 line explanation for each procedure and the total price. I remember at first asking if I needed this and that type of procedure because I thought maybe I would, and they clearly said, no need at all for those things I requested, they could do it optionally as an aesthetics procedures only, but said it could not be stated that those procedures were required for a FFS as my face was already quite femenine in some regards.

The messages I've received afterwards are relatively short but professional and straight to the point. They are so far the surgeons who proposed the least procedures, which I like and also mirrors the feedback I've received on Susan's or from the VFFS girl. They also proposed a Skype meeting with the surgeons so that I can ask medical questions to them directly (they are two, it's really a team in that regard, not one surgeon), this is scheduled in July.

All other surgeons have proposed one or two more procedures, and a handfull about twice the amount of procedures. I think this speaks well of the FFS team. They can operate in Spain or Brazil and state that all the FFS is carried out personally by both surgeons (they are always the same two operating surgeons specialized in face and skull stuff, not one, one of them is from Spain, the other from Brazil, the prices are the same in both cases) which I find reassuring. Of course, they would offer cellphone support 24/7 once you get there and gave me a guide of places to stay and so on and so forth with some detailed info about how long to stay, or not, and which unlikely complications could lengthen the stay and how much, and that the risks would need to be confirmed based on blood tests.

The only thing I did not like was in the before and after pictures, the after is most of the time hairstyled, smiley, made up, and on a different background or different light shading, which can alter perception A LOT. As a side note, I saw on Dr. Rossi's/ T-change website that the few results they had (only 3 for FFS, a few for other types of procedures on cis patients...) were with the same facial expression, lightning and background.

Hi

I'll be going for FFS with Facial Team towards the end of July 2014 - tracheal shave, chin remodeling, lip lift and forehead remodeling.

The experience with them up to now has been exellent - highly professional at all times.  I sent them a "wish list" along with my photos, and they responded with a comment that some of the items were simply not necessary for my face - it's good to see that they don't want to do more than necessary, nor charge more than necessary.

In my opinion their services are not cheap, but, ladies, we are talking about our faces here.  And they mostly interview via Skype video - I've had a couple of sessions which left me pretty at ease.  Also, I emailed them some more detailed questions, and they happily answered me.

I had my FFS with Facial Team in March and I am happy. My passing is nearly perfect, healing was fine and they did what we discussed before.
I am happy.
