Apples Mk.II

Morning. Right now I have a towel not very tightly tied to my hair, so I can't get a lot of stuff done until my hair is a bit more dry. Posting time, then.

This week I got my tax refund and after putting most of the money on my transition savings account, I found that I have 100€ available for spending. I've been nearly broke for so long that I don't what impulse buying means any more. I could save it for the lip lift or one electro session, but I feel like it is time for a self gift.
I'm a bit divided about what to get. Buy something useful that would improve my daily life and solve some pitfalls that happen from time to time, or put everything into something that will be fun but won't change life?

The useful stuff:

- A multifunctional laser monochrome printer (45-50€): I'm having multiple issues with this, specially when needing to print my notes (and having to go to a copy shop far away from home), or having to scan documents (taking photos doesn't always work).

- Headphones (30-40€): I broke my old ones one year ago during a tantrum while coming out to an important someone, and it's something that's has been missing on my life. They would be quite helpful to play noisy games and movies at night, or with the handheld gaming system. I am a bit divided between picking something "fashionable / street" or for home.  Given the fact of how messy my hair can get  when putting stuff over it plus the risk of moving the bangs extension, I'd rather get an innear ear plugs for outdoors (Senseiher CX-300?).

- Epilator (100€): Summer is coming, and the main reason of me wearing pants is the awful look razor bumps give me. four laser sessions means that hair wont be visible until a week after shaving, but the bumps and feel is quite hideous. I won't be doing laser for now since I'm putting my resources into facial hair removal, so a month lasting removal would help. Bad memories about wax, so I will only do that with a professional

- Kitchen appliances: A blender would improve the range of dishes I can prepare.

- The not so useful stuff:

- Additional speakers: I have a small audio setup consisting of a record player stationed at the home office, but still hasn't got any speakers, so I need to carry the ones from the bedroom every time I play some records, so it is not getting a lot of use. A decent 2.0 that can be hanged to the wall could be interesting. I'd like to have an actual amplifier and speakers, but that's out of the question for now.

- More piercings (80€): An additional pair of earring holes next to the existing ones. I do these things at a studio with an autoclave since I am quite prone to infections and other issues. This also would begin the talk about the tattoo I'd like to have.

- Computer hardware stuff: A DVI KVM, liquid cooling quit, a faster hard drive... Not an enthusiast any more, but I like to tinker with it.

- Musical Instrument: Getting a cheap electric guitar plus amp for beginners will mean adding more money beyond the budget I have. It's a bit of a dream I've had for some time, wanting to learn to play something. I run the risk of giving up quickly.

Any ideas, things I would miss, etc?

How about a facial, massage and pampering.

I really don't like people to touch my face when hair can be felt, not to mention going without several layers of makeup that would make me unpassable.

A really nice drink somewhere with flowers / water / SUNSHINE and keep the rest for a special day - when you need an instant pick me up.

It's a nice feeling to have knowing that it is there for you and you alone

Get something that makes you happy. Or put it towards savings. You shouldn't spend the money just for the sake of spending it.
