I've lived in darkness for so long I thought the ultimate darkness was what would only make me free. How wrong I was, thank god for caring people and the professionals that really do care. I don't know how long this happiness  will last  , but I'm enjoying it to the max. I bought a very pretty dress a couple of days ago and I'm trying it out today. It's making me feel so free and me. Just thought I'd share a happy moment. Don't mind me I'm a little weird.

I think we all have these sorts of moments, especially earlier in our transitions when the world is bright, shiny, and colorful after being a dull black and white for years.

Good for you!
The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.

Aye, not too long ago I was walking down the street, and it occurred to me that freedom is the most beautiful thing in the world.  I often think that "those others" could learn some things from us, the value of freedom being one of them.  So many people get themselves trapped in a certain way of life that makes them miserable, but they haven't got the courage to break free from it.

We transpeople know what freedom is because we know the most profound sort of freedom there is: the freedom to be yourself.

This feeling inside me
Finally found my life, I'm finally free
No longer torn in two
Living my own life by learning from you

Hugs,

Jen
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

That's one of the nice things about freedom: you have the freedom to decide what you want to do with it.
