Does head hair always get finer on HRT?

I have coarse black hair on my head that is similar to my mum and grandmother. I was told by my doctor that when I go on estrogen my hair will get finer. But is this always the case? Are there any girls on estrogen whose hair thickness has stayed the same despite being on estrogen? Thanks x

Body hair maybe, don't know about head hair.

My hair might be a bit drier on the whole it isn't thinner.

In fact on the corners where the m shaped hairline was the hair has gotten much thicker and started to grow in though I would attribute that to dutasterdie and minoxdil not estrogen.
15 years on Susans, where has all the time gone?

I always had very soft and thin hair and it appears to be the same, though sometimes it seems a tiny bit thinner, but I am not sure about this.

Body hair has got much finer to non existent. :)

Head hair has filled back in and gotten fuller as it was starting to thin out.
I have not noticed that it has gotten thicker, pretty sure it looks finer to me.
Nice to know its not falling out anymore.

Thanks, I hope my hair doesn't go too fine as I like it the way it is. But any more hair is always welcome  ;)

Hair grows longer/faster but is thinner than it was, similar to pre-puberty.
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

My hair is super thick so if I did loose more than normal I wouldn't know it for like a 100 years.
