Im very very happy with my hair growth! There are transgender girls who wear wigs due to thinning or balding, Ive had insanely good luck with my hair growing back. It's near shoulder length right now. It's frizzy but that's due to some hairs on top being blonde or an inch to 3 inches in the crown area and where I part my hair. Many of those inch to 3 inch hairs started growing back 4 or 5 months ago as I started treating it 6 or 7 months ago. It used to look like I had weird extensions in a way but it's starting to get more and more natural. Ive been told by many people how they have seen alot of improvement including my hair stylist. They said where I part it and the crown area is getting more and more filled in. Some say I seem like I have alot of hair and that I could pull it back in a ponytail. No ponytail due to the hairs on top but Im on my way. I want long beautiful hair and Im getting it!! To girls here, you do not need to settle for a wig or expensive hair transplants or drugs with side effects. Vitamins, a anti dht shampoo and soy milk are the way to go to get that hair thinning gone and get that long beautiful hair you want. I am one VERY happy girl!!! :)

Those are great results with no formal medication!  Do you mind if I ask whether you've started HRT yet?  And what vitamins are you taking?

Hair loss, or just crappy thin hair on parts of my head, is a big worry of mine right now.  I'm going the hardcore drug-taking route though; minoxidil, finasteride, and spiro (estrogen soon).  Slow progress...

I have not yet started hrt.

I had the same worries of course and I got VERY depressed about it now and than also. I was going to get a hair transplant but than I found it is painful and involved cutting out some skin plus I hate knives. I also was told by my doc not to go the drug way like with finasteride. I struggled and read up on vitamins, soy milk, dht and more. I got a shampoo called redkin fort 16$s which is a dht blocking shampoo with the words intra force on front. 2nd soy milk really helps. 1 glass is good. I take 5 vitamins. 1 is called biotin. Blocking DHT is a big thing.

Ive had amazing luck!! Ive got a lot of my hair back. I hope I can help you.

This is really interesting.  I just learned about Biotin yesterday.  What other vitamins are you taking?

I've been on Finasteride and Minoxidil for about a month...too early for results.  But I'm definitely open to anything else that even has the potential to help.

Although I'm pretty sure that transplants are in my future to fix my hairline.

Hi guys, from the better living through chemistry world, two years ago I was bald.  Two years of 5 percent minoxidal, 15 months of finisteride, 22 months of spiro and estradiol and you can see the results.  I started biotin six weeks ago for my nails, and don't see much change yet.  I have girlfriends who swear by it though.

Good luck au-natural,  I'm impressed that you're seeing pre HRT results.  Way cool.
