Hi, I moved out of my old home into apartment early last April due to marriage falling apart after I started my full time expression. Anyway the man who lives next door and I have had many pleasant interactions in our passing and this morning while loading up for work at 5 am. He came out which is very early for him be up and asked to me join him for dinner tonight. I accepted as I am kind of interested in him and I believe he knows I am trans but will have that as part of our evening conversation to be sure he knows up front as I don't want to get involved and have that come up later just in case he is not aware. So anyways thought I would see what kind of feedback I could find on first dates since it has been a couple of decades since I have dated.

thank you
Jerri

First, OMG Congrats!  :) Isn't it nice to feel like a woman and get attention?

I have only been out once and it turned out to be more of an educational inservice. The person didn't know I was trans when he introduced himself, but I told him right off and whether he felt obligated at that point or something else still asked me to dinner. It was nice and he treated me well, but there was no way it was going any further. Just remember you are deserving of respect and to be treated properly. If your tummy tells you something is up listen to it. I do hope you have a nice dinner and at least made a new friend if anything. Good luck and don't forget the details the next day. We will all be waiting!  ;D
