My name is Ginger, I just started my HRT 9 days ago. Woohooo.. So happy.
I live in Ontario Canada and I am 48 yrs old.
My Doctor has me on Estrace, Prometirum and SupreFact. I think it is a bit more advanced then
a regular HRT program so he says.
I am happy that I am on my HRT and things are going very smoothly.

On the not so smooth ride is I am pretty much alone in my journey so far. Have been pretty much all my life.
Never had the luck to have lots of friends and never had many close friend. I do have 1 male friend that I consider
to be some what close too and I am dating a very understanding lady.

I have kept her up with all my steps and my trans story. She is still with me.
My journey is not a regular transition.

I would love to talk and learn from you all.

Please don't be afraid to say hello and toss me some PM's.
Luv Ginger.

Welcome!

I hope you enjoy being with us. I know in my short time already, I've learned a lot about the community and myself.

A big warm welcome to the family Ginger! Yes, you are now part of a large family with brothers and sisters who will be there when you need us. The good thing is we all understand you so you can relax and know we understand the things you are going through. Dig right in and know you are accepted and loved for who you are. You will find this place very addictive and will make a lot of friends you will want to talk to almost daily. Here is a BIG HUG  :icon_hug: to welcome you and make you feel right at home!  :)

Your transition seems pretty normal from what you wrote. Either way, I'm glad you're here with us.

Welcome Ginger to the forum ah.

From a Montreal girl I wish you the best in your path.

Lots of luck handling all the government hoops you will jump but is worth all the effort.

Hugs

Thank you all for the wonderful welcome notes.

I have received some PM's from some of you, but I don't think it will allow me to reply back to you.

Also Ellie, can you PM me about your comment. I think you and I might have something in common and I
would like to ask you some questions?

But for some reason I cannot reply back to your PMs so hopefully this will change.

Luv Ginger.

Welcome. I just joined and it's nice to hear that you're already well on your way to transition. Stay positive!

You can't reply to PM's until 15 posts are done. It doesn't mean just make a bunch of nonsense posts though.
