I've been in a relationship for 7 monthes now, my bf loves me and I love him,i touch him, but he cant touch me, andni feel bad about it. My bf knows im trans but he doesnt care as he looks, sees, and treats me like the woman i am. We both live with my mom and dad. I've been feeling down lately about the fact that I'm not post op, and how much it costs, I can't get a general price as I looked it up and ugh, no prices :( I live in Maine and I really wish I looked down below how I feel on the inside. If anyone can give me any good surgeon s within the new England area, not necessarily Maine but within new england, and good doctors, I'd really appreciate it. Please.

Dr. McGinn is in Pennsylvania.
I don't have any first hand experience with her, but found her info in the links here on Susan's.

I'm in Boston, and Brassard was actually closer to me than McGinn; he's in Canada, yes, but pretty close to the border. I think he's even closer to you than to me.

I paid $18,050 Canadian but I think(?) he's raised the price to $19,500 Canadian. Bear in mind that with the exchange rate, that's often cheaper in US dollars. Back in the good old days, the exchange rate meant it cost like HALF as much for an American...

Two words: South America. Cost is much lower, there's a favorable exchange rate, it's adventurous, and, most of all, if you don't have much money $10,000 is much more achievable than $20,000. I know people think only American and Thai doctors can perform SRS well, or so it seems, but Argentina is the only country on earth where SRS is a right not a privilege for the lucky few or those with much better money management skills than me. And this is funny to me since I live within a half hour or hour's drive of three surgeons: McGinn, Leis, and Rumer. In any event, here's a list of surgeons: http://www.drbecky.com/srssurg.html

I know how you feel too. My BF would much rather me have a vag, but ya know ya have to make things work. I keep him satisfied. I think. Ugh. I try to not think about it, since SRS  is awhile away for me. Like two years.
