30 schools across the UK are using textbooks which teach that AIDS can be avoided through religion, and that homosexuality is a choice.

The US-based Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum currently lists over 30 participant UK schools on its website, with the majority being private Christian schools.

Pupils on the course do not study for GCSEs or A-Levels, and instead work to attain a International Christian Certificate of Education.
A textbook used as part of the course teaches that homosexuality is a choice, evolution is a lie, abortion is wrong, and AIDS can be avoided by following the Bible.

Why is the word school used here. wait I know why, "Schooling" means teaching. So a church is a school.

But school is a misleading word here, leading people to believe a place of religious teachings, is a place of practical teachings. Still a church :p its a week long "Sunday school" and 30 in thousands lol. My nieces and nephews all go to a religiously funded practical educational school. I pick them up, meet their teachers.

It seems these "schools" are just a churches, that have extended Sunday school to a full week, to remove the word Sunday from it, making it seem less churchly and more educational. Because one day a week isn't enough to brainwash children.

I sure hope this 'Christian certificate' thing isn't enough to get into college. I have a 4.0 GPA and I have enough trouble as is. I'm pretty sure that no college would accept a person who denies the obvious. The willfully ignorant should not receive any kind of higher education until they get a REAL education.

Regrettably there are four "Christian Colleges" within an hour's driving distance (well, not at ""rush"" hour.) of my house where the "Christian Certificate" would be accepted before your 4.0 GPA Public School Diploma would be.  Not that you would want to get one of their degrees mind you, but Creation Science and Bible Literal Fundamentalism is a major course.  There is also instruction on how to build a Mega Church base, with emphasis on how their Deity will bless his own with the money from a faithful flock!!     But HEY, this is Southern California!!

Wiser now about Post Op reality!!
