I'm honestly not overwhelmed with emotions. I'm pretty neutral. But moving around so the stent inside me hits something, enough to let me feel it's inside me, and feeling over the bandages and feeling only even, swollen tissue and no weird long lump of flesh hanging out all on its own is the most natural feeling. Like "yeah, now it's right. Perfectly right like it's supposed to be."

I'm only 1 day post OP and in pain and really swollen... But I'm glad. :)

For the first week, before they took the dressings off and the catheter out, I pretended it all didn't exist. For the next three months or so, the thing was kind of monstrous and scary. There was so much swelling that it look like a giant gaping mouth.

I'm 4 months post-op and for the past few weeks it's started looking like a proper female bottom. The tenderness has subsided (except my clitoral head) and I can feel around. It really blows my mind to know it's there.

Thank you for sharing your feelings. It looks pretty hideous... But even then I was happy to see it. The thing that didn't belong there was gone. And I know the swelling will go down and it will start to look normal so I don't worry too much...

Hurts, sore, lots of swelling and all kinds of leaking goo, blood and smells.

Life is good.

Haha... yeah. Hey, can I ask you something? Before removing the stent, how deep inside you Ddid it feel to be when you moved around with it?
Mine doesn't seem to be in that deep and I'm kind of worried it means there won't be a lot of depth :/ I can't really tell how deep... just somehow doesn't feel like much...

Ps mine smells like fried noodles and tom yam... they lied about the fish smell, shrimp aren't fish!

I have no feeling up there. The opening part is the only thing I'm aware of. Mine is pretty deep, but I wasn't aware of the packing until it was pulled out.

Oh, thank you. Then do you think it goes deeper but my feeling just stops at a shallower depth? I really hope so. It's definitely inside me though so I guess that's good news.

Well, I really can't know, can I?

But does depth really matter that much?

Look at this thread for some perspectives on that question.
