Ciara

Hi All,
I thought I might share a happy moment.
Right now I'm relaxing in a summer skirt and tshirt an a warm summer's evening. It's at moments like this that I'm reminded that life can be good and I love being a girl!
Ciara.
I don't have a gender issue.
I love being a girl.

Isn't that the truth Sis! I am so glad you are having a good time. I mean why go through transition if you can't totally enjoy it, right?  :)

I've been struggling.with dysphoria all day to varying degrees. I've experienced it before bit not for this long
fortunately I have some new clothes that should be waiting for me when I get home
As a guy I always hated clothes, but as a girl trying stuff on is so much fun. (and expensive)

I'm with you, Ciara. ;D

I do have bouts of dysphoria, especially if I see a girl that's sporting a fashion that I feel I will never be able to rock with the same skill... Then I remember that I'm still so early in transition that anything is possible. The future is shiny. 8)

I'd rather see the world from another angle
We are everyday angels
Be careful with me 'cause I'd like to stay that way

You are right Jessica. We must enjoy who we are and what we do. Sometimes it ca be difficult but we should always grab the good moments.

Dysphoria is tough going.  When I'm down, I need to throw the guy away with all his trappings and be my girl self, even if only for a little while. That helps me through it.
And you are right, girls clothes are so much more fun.
I don't have a gender issue.
I love being a girl.

As I suspect the clothes made my day. I'm wearing this black dress right now. It makes me feel so feminine. I also have a blue-green dress. Unfortunately my jeans skirt was WAY too big. I'm a 35, this is a 32 and it fits me as if it was a 45 or even bigger. Seriously how did they screw the sizing up so badly? I'm hoping when I eventually go to a PFLAG meeting, I can meet someone who would go shopping with me. By myself I can't be in the women's section for more than a few seconds without feeling exposed. I'm hoping having a friend to go with me will help and I can actually look at the clothes and hopefully try them on before buying.
