I am really interested in buying some Breast Forms to just wear around the house in the privacy of my bedroom just so I can have the feeling of having breasts and wearing bras and swimsuits and such. So I am a beginner when it comes to breast forms and I am just curious what are some affordable options? I have looked on Amazon and I am on the fence about a few of them and I kind of want to get something that I can strap on that are in one unit rather than separate that you would attach to bras and so on.

Any advice would be great? I know there is the breast form shop but those are a bit pricery for me since I would of course get a better pair down the road but for now I just want something basic.

I have bought some on Amazon for about $40. (feminiqe)(actually a pair of 1000g together and a pair of 800g together). They do require a bra and depending on bra look mostly ok. I like the weight and that they bounce :-). Unless I wear something super tight they can pass. The nipples stick out quite a bit so without a t-shirt bra may be visible. As mentioned before, finding a good bra for them was not all that easy. If the bra is too small, they kept falling out when bending over or they just did not give the right look. Hope one day I will not need them anymore...

They were only intended to see how I feel with breast forms but by now I wear them almost daily. Not sure if I get a different brand or put my hope into HRT...

No advice here, just a funny incident that happened to me and my daughter. I ordered my breast forms and this was before my transition when I was cross-dressing. I was scared someone would find out so I rented a PO Box and I put my daughters name on the deliver to line. Well lo and behold the forms came but the Post Office rejected the package, they did however look up my daughters address and sent them there. She and hubby had quite a time with them. Posting pictures on the internet questioning just who would do that. Getting a good laugh. I went over a couple days later and I sympathized with her. It must have been someone making a joke, so I told her I would send them back, Meanwhile I got on the phone and read everyone the riot act on how they could possible send them to my daughters address. As a result they gave me my forms free. I told her about them when I came out to her three month later. You got to admit it was pretty funny. The irony is I don't really need them any more because I have developed a large B nearly C cup. There is a three inch difference between my band size and my breast size. I don't really know as I only think of them as hand size and I have fairly big hands

By the way Sarah, you can get some adhesive and tape them in place so they don't fall out. Having been on HRT for about three months and being on Spiro 25 years. I can say this. There ain't nothing like the real thing baby.

JC, Breast plates are fairly expensive when compared to forms.

NuBra, availabale on Amazon for less than $40. I absolutely, wholeheartedly recommend NuBra. They are simply beautiful silicone bra inserts, most versions with a little enhanced nipple bump, and come in various sizes. I do suggest the ones without self-adhesive, because the silicone NuBra insert seems to last forever. If anyone has a problem with them falling out of her bra, she is wearing the wrong bra. I wear t-back (racer back) bras with great success. Also I love conventional sheer totally unlined bras, since they allow the enhanced nipple bump to show through. My favorite NuBra version is the size enhancer with no adhesive. They come in three sizes: S, L, XL. I have a set in each size and choose size depending on the outfit I wear.
At my place of work I am not publicly out as transgender, so under my required Polo shirt uniform shirt I wear the size small with either a racer back bra or a very sheer unlined conventional bra. Yes, people do notice them and seem to whisper about me, which I totally want. As co-worker women seem to be extremely curious about my "perkiness" under my shirt, I take the opportunity to out myself to them, one at a time. The women all seem to be supportive, by the way.
Back to the breast forms. I also like to wear a Timpa Duet lace underwire mesh bra with my NuBra insert. These also make a wonderful combination, but there is an ever so slight tendency for the NuBra to slip out of position. However, the Timpa Duet may be my favorite bra of all time. Even without the NuBra insert, the Timpa Duet on my 60+ year old man-boobs on a very slender frame gives me the appearance of A cup breasts with jiggle.
My choice of silicone insert size depends on my sweater or top or dress.
The NuBra XL is the size of choice under my ladies motorcycle jacket or when I wear my woman's wetsuit when I go surfing.
This is not an ad for NulBra. However, buy a pair. You will not be disappointed.

I bought some off of Amazon and they are size D and they look like they will be fun to experiment with and check out and see how it feels to have breasts, something that I think about all the time.

You can also check out the "Links" section on this page which provides helpful links to treat form shops (amongst many other things). I have just added the bestbreatforms.com link to the list.
