As a result of their repeatedly reaching out to anti-trans groups, and others who wish to hurt the transgender community and our push for official recognition of the right to be who we are,  I have decided that this person is no longer welcome on this site.

I am patient about a lot of things, but I saw this ban coming from a mile away.  Before it reached this point, staff spent hours and dozens of private messages attempted to counsel this person about changing their actions both personally by accepting responsibility for the choices they made in their situation and making progress by moving forward; and in regards to their dealings with anti-trans groups.

This person claimed to have been forced to have SRS but in fact they stated that they made false statements to their doctors and psychologists to get the end results they wanted. Once they got it they realized that they made a mistake. Rather than accept responsibility for their actions and the role they played in their situation this person decided to blame the system for not protecting them from their own deception.

They are now attempting to sell their claims that they were forced into SRS  both to the transgender community, which basically points out that they made the choices they did, and they chose to have the surgery; and if they don't like it tough. That's bad enough but they have repeatedly stated they are interested in marketing their version of their story to anti-trans groups knowing full well it would be used to cast the transition process, gender professionals, and our community in a negative light.

I've been approached multiple times by people wanting to use my story. I've always refused but now am debating...but I also know those interested in buying it would use it in an effort to make transition access more difficult for others.

I warned them at the time

I will tell you this; if someone does something that I feel hurts or portrays our community (and I don't just mean the one on this web site) in a negative light, I will ban them on this site. I don't wanna pull any punches there.

Topic Locked.

Only to find out today that they were still discussing doing so.

So I was left with no choice but to ban them from continuing to be a part of the transgender community on my web site; I recommend others do the same.

Pikachu

Samantha, Rchic and AgentJ were the same person.

I feel bad for her because of her situation. I know it must be extremely hard to deal with. But it doesn't justify her doing something to hurt the very community she came to for support. I feel betrayed that she would want to make money at our expense after so many of us reached out to try to help her.

The key word that Pikachu used is person. A person who was at the site for support.  The rest is circumstance, and things didn't work out,  that happens.  Susan made the announcement in a factual manner without judging Dani, let's all follow her lead. Neither this thread nor anywhere else on the forums are appropriate places for bashing anyone.

I may pass this along to moderators of a different site who are currently debating whether to allow her to remain despite her toxic influence.

I feel bad for her, we all do, but she's even hijacking everyone else's posts to retell this sob story - and until now, we didn't know she was talking about *selling* the story to anti-trans groups.

That's why I posted it Blue, for others who may be dealing with the same person.

Since the story is rather unique and she repeatedly tells it, any new accound should be identifyable rather easily. I was trying to talk to her but did not know how to help her. I suggested some stuff outside this forum because obviously she could not get the help that she needs here, but she seemed to block all attempts to help her . Sad :(

as adults of consenting capacity we should be liable and responsible for actions and choices we make. it's life .

lying to therapists and gatekeepers to achieve goals then regretting them , and turning around to blame others, is downright despicable.

I whole totally agree with the action taken. We get so little support from cis people that the damage that would be done would make it so much more difficult for us to seek the help we need.

She wasn't forced to do anything. She had to sign consent forms and knew what she was getting into. I'm sorry but I don't feel any sympathy for her.
