Hi, everyone.
I've been lurking around a bit for a while, but recently joined last night to get some help with some difficult news (the first endo I saw refused to start HRT/T because I have an existing hormonal issue).
I am a 32 year old bisexual FTM, and a software engineer. I grew up very feminine, partly due to a lot of outside influences, and became a "very butch female" about 8 years ago. For the past 4-5 years, I have known that I am actually a man, and have finally gotten over all of my fears and anxieties (I'm too short and hourglassy to ever pass, etc) and decided I could never really be happy without being a man physically.
And now, off to read the rules posts that have been in most of the other intros - I probably should've done that before I started posting...
I also just posted what was probably way too much information/biography in the "Early signs you gave yourself that you were trans, but failed to recognize" thread - copied here in case anyone is interested (I'm fairly certain my story is the same as many other folks' stories). (Copy removed after I read the forum rules - sorry).
