I start college in September. I'm still waiting on the therapy, which will happen somewhere September-December. It takes a while. I have two years of college before I start out into the workforce.
So, by the time the two years is up, how well into the transition could I be? I mean. Could I be passing 100% of the time by then? Could I have my SRS at the end of year two?
I'm going to be a TA, so I want to be able to pass 100% before I  start work.

Rawb, you can be completely transitioned in two years; I have transitioned for the most part in 1 year in college.  What are wanting in the way of SRS?

Yes, you will be able to pass 100%.
SRS is possible since you will be eligible after 1 year of T, but you need to plan early because some surgeons are booked full a year in advance and you only have summer time to go through surgeries and recovery time.
I started spring semester sophomore year, and I can probably get what I need to be done by spring semester senior year.

2 years? For sure, provided you plan out a schedule to get everything in order.
You certainly are lucky to be in college and are transitioning earlier than most which makes it easier.

Are you wanting top surgery?  You will want to be set to interview your senior year as a normal guy.

I would certainly think you would be able to pass. I think your goal is very realistic

umm.. what does TA stand for?

Yes, you will be able to pass 100%.

Well he could be able to pass 100% by then.  It's pretty uncommon, ime, but there are guys out there who don't pass regularly even after a few years on T.

OP, starting T within the next few months would be the ideal as far as potential passing ability at the end of this 2 year period.  You can have top surgery anytime you want to given you have the funds and documents required by the surgeon (letters or what have you).

It's possible, yes. However I wouldn't say that it will happen without a shadow of a doubt. If you were to start therapy in September-December your therapist might have a lot of openings that work with your schedule. You might be able to meet weekly and get a letter/set up an endocrinologist appointment within a month or two. Or maybe your therapist doesn't feel you're ready, maybe there's not a lot of compatible availability and it takes a year to get the okay for hormones. Maybe after that, you're struggling to find an endocrinologist or GP that is knowledgeable about transgender care. Then it could be that it takes 1.5 years.

Surgery depends on what you're looking for. Top surgery can happen at almost any point so long as you have a doctor's letter saying surgery is an appropriate thing for you. Bottom surgery usually isn't recommended until at least one year on testosterone (although I'm not sure how long they usually require).

Do you have health insurance that will cover everything?

I'm Canadian, and the province I'm in, it covers all the surgeries and T shots and everything. So I'm good, as far as that goes.

Yes I want top surgery (as soon as possible, not only am I super dysphoric about the top bits, it also causes a lot of issues as far as heat rashes and infections), and I want either clitoral release or metidioplasty for SRS.

My college faculty know that I'm trans and I'm going in with them all calling me by my male name and guy washrooms and pronouns.
