So my beard on my chin is growing in a weird manner-it's sort of bare in the middle! I shave it really close so you can tell I have a beard still, but up close it just looks odd. it's slowly growing now but I feel like I don't want to shave it. I don't follow that urban myth of shaving it all so it grows faster. I sort of feel like I'm trippin because it's just this one little spot in the middle of my chin. I get facial dysphoria really bad and facial hair makes me feel less feminine faced, but is there anything I can do that's sort of all natural for sensitive skin until it feels like filling in?

I was thinking that maybe waxing the hair off evenly would be the best thing. I seen a great home waxing product that I am thinking about that would take care of the hair for weeks at a time!

Maybe I parsed that weird but don't want a feminine face. Waxing would be too much for me to bear thinking about.

I thought that waxing would be very irritating to the skin, but some people I talked to said it wasn't that bad. But true, if you don't want a feminine face then waxing might not be right for you. I just don't like having to shave every day and if it means having a more feminine face for me, that would be the trade off.

I'm actually dealing with that exact same issue. I've been letting all my facial hair grow out now for well over a month and I have that little almost bald spot smack dab in the middle of my chin. I have long hair on either side but right there.. not really. And you're right, it does look silly D:
I actually did a bit of a ballsy thing tonight and used Just for men beard and mustache dye. Had to apply it on twice but what little whiskers I had in that "baldish" spot darkened up a bit to sorta match the hair around it.. so I don't look AS silly now.
As for what to do with that spot? I got no clue so your guess is as good as mine :/ sorry can't be of more help. My guess is it'll eventually come in and just gotta be patient.
I run a FtM blog where I pour my experiences out for others to read. Check it out!

I'm just at four months of T but I had a hairy chin to begin with. It's just toward the sides though, so yes I have a bald spot. ::) Frankly, with decent sideburns growing in, it just looks like mutton chops and I always kind of liked those. (My dad looked at my face the other day and said "...mutton chops!")

I had the bald patch in the middle of the chin thing going on for the first year.  It's only been in the last year that it's started to fill in.

That's just how it grows. I'm at 3.5 years on T and sort of have a spot in the middle still.

Speaking as someone who started growing a beard in my teens and wasn't happy about it, it's not impossible for genetic males to have a patchy beard as teenagers.  I hope and assume you'll work your way through that hairless spot much the same way and for much the same reason.
When in doubt, ignore the moral judgments of anybody who engages in cannibalism.

My sideburns are weird too right now, they don't match on the sides, it's kinda silly looking, but it's evening out finally. I might try darkening it in temporarily and see how it looks. I'll just be patient otherwise.

Oh well, Guess it's just one of those things!

I'm not shaving everyday or anything just once in awhile, trying to get my beard to grow. Thank you for the advice though :)

I also have a bald patch under my chin. I'm just starting to see how my beard looks like, I always shaved just to avoid that creepy look it gave me. Also the rest of the beard matches my hair color while on my chin it's blond like hell, so I also dyed it and I think it looks ok now.

My facial hair has grown in quite asymetrically as well, and even 3+ years on T it's still patchy. I wouldn't worry about having a gap on your chin though, I think there are actually a lot of grown men out there who don't have perfectly filled in facial hair. Plus some of your hairs might grow in at different rates, so if you leave it for a while, it might start to look more filled in.

Ok this may make some of you guys feel a little better and I really hope ya'll don't mind me butting in but sbx is right. My beard growth is wierd in the way that it grows one direction, to the right side of my face. Right under my bottom lip it grows straight, moustache grows traight and then there is about an half inch where nothing grows and then the hair grows toward the right. A lot of cismales have wierd beard growths and sparse areas so don't be to hard on yourselves. I tried when I was way younger for a devilish goatee and it ended up looking like I was constantly in the wind.
