Unequal breast development?

Okay, I was looking down at my breasts today because they have been really hurting for some reason this past week. I noticed something I think is a bit insane considering the small dosages I am on; my left nipple is no longer a cone, it is like a mound on top of a mound.

Now, I am no expert, but that is from what I read a clear sign of the breast entering Tanner Stage IV....The thing is, the right breast isn't doing this at all, so it seems to be a stage behind. I mean the right breast is smaller, but not all that much smaller, how can it be in a different stage of development?

Also, WTF is going on here, I am in a few days going to be at month 5 of HRT, but my doses are very small, like not even multiple pills of E a day sort of small, how are things happening so quickly? Is this speed contributing to uneven development or is it just the positioning of the heart allowing more flow of hormones to the left breast than the right?

I knew that the size wouldn't necessarily be the same for my breasts while growing but, how can they not be the same shape anymore?

The asymmetry is not uncommon and usually, with time, things more or less equalize. Perhaps the reason you are experiencing so much growth at low doses is because you are taking bicalutamide, an anti-androgen that STRONGLY inhibits androgens and androgen is a known inhibitor of breast growth. It's the same with XY girls completely insensitive to androgen. Very low levels bring about significant breast growth in them plus maybe the fact that their growth hormone levels are high. Or, maybe your body is extra sensitive to the effects of E...genetics! or some other thing going on in your body.

There have probably been more posts on uneven breast development in Susan's place than any other topic.

Every cisgender woman I've ever spoken to on the topic knows which of her breasts are larger and which are smaller. It's a fact of female life.

The uneven size isn't what is making me worry it is the uneven shape, one seems clearly to be in a different stage of development.

Not I. Woke up one morning with large chest, equal in size and shape that wasn't there before and with no 'growing pains.'

While it may be common, it isn't universal.
