I wouldn't be surprised in me dating one since my dating pool has cut down considerably.

Yeah, this is my biggest annoyances about being trans, since I am not hiding it from a partner (Not that I am opposed to it, but I would never be able to be stealth anyways) I basically can only look at people who are fine with me being trans, which turns out to be a very small group of people. I would estimate it at less than one percent even. I have no attractions to men of any sort though, but I suppose I could end up with another MTF.

They don't have to be physical places. You never know when you might meet someone from your area online.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean which is why it's very difficult to find someone that's open-minded.

I'm glad you have had really great experiences with other trans people. IRL I've met a lot of trans people who I honestly just don't like being around at all, they're not respectful of my choices re: my transition...my biggest allies BY FAR have always been cis people, which I never expected. I was pretty disappointed actually (not by the cis people, lol, but by the way some other trans people have treated me). It actually made me hesitant to get close to a trans woman, because of some trans women I've met, but she's great.

Really??  I was curious what trans women are like IRL. I haven't met any yet actually except one when I was younger.  She always wore sunglasses inside and spoke really low so I don't really know what she was like. She seemed generally benevolent though at least.  Not like,  boisterous.

If I wasn't already in a four year relationship with my (cis)husband, I suppose I would seek out other transpeople to date. I wouldn't really need to explain anything and we could just enjoy each other.

I like girls, so i would date a mtf, would be easier explaining the whole transgender thing and dysphoria lol luckily my girl is pretty good about it all so far
