My wife and I shave my chest and a couple other areas, Legs and arms and other 'visible' areas, no, at least not yet. The wife isn't quite ready for that and would have to find a good excuse when the family sees that while wearing shorts or short sleeves......

They probably won't even say anything.  Mine didn't and we spend a good amount of time in the pool together every summer.  I've always been noted as the guy who wears a sweater underneath his shirt.  This summer I was completely hairless and no one even mentioned it!

Guys don't pay attention and aren't going to strike up a conversation about your body hair.

Girls will notice, but then feel self-conscious about their own body hair and not mention anything.

On the other hand, I'm a sleeveless black T-Shirt kinda guy. And I'm absolutely certain that my daughter will ask. As I said, we have a good excuse for my chest, other areas she'll never see. But pits are almost always visible due to the sleeveless shirts, and the legs while wearing shorts. Frankly, she's who I'm worried about. I have some ink, and am thinking that getting some ink on a leg will give me an excuse....

**Edit
THinking about it while the daughter MIGHT not say anything to me, she would DEFINITELY ask my wife!

I epilate most everywhere about once a month and then spot check each morning in the shower with a razor. Works well for me and this is going on four years now.  :)

Apologies for responding to such an old post, but this was hysterical!

After that, I did some experimenting and would use a combination of an electric hair trimmer (like at the barbers) to get the bulk of it off, then switch to a ladies electric razor.  The benefit there was that I'd get smooth legs without the hairs going beneath the skin.  So I got far fewer ingrown hairs, but did have to shave more regularly.
This is what I do as well. It makes the legs smooth.

I'm currently in mental turmoil over deciding what to do with my leg hair. My legs were smooth in winter but not now.
I feel shame when I shave them even though I want it gone.. sucks having these fights within yourself.

I have quite fair hair. I epilated up to my knees and did my hands and no one noticed. Only had a couple of ingrown ones. Its odd - my shins are quite shiny and have hardly any hair anyway.

I shave as many areas that I can. The boob area, stomach, underarms are a must (doing that for several years), the legs I have been shaving for the last two years at least, starting with every month or two to lately every couple of days. I don't know if it should be done that often, but they are so smooth now. Pubic area, of course, also. Was thinking of buying a waxing kit and getting rid of the hair for a month or more.
