Hello everyone. I am a 28 MtF woman in Tacoma. I have been on HRT for about 6 months now and am absolutely happy with where I am. I'm out to everyone that I care about including my amazing wife and some really supportive friends. I had a very unfortunate reaction from my mother and we haven't spoken in about 4 months now. I am also still closeted at work because I remain in one of the few professions where identifying as trans is automatic grounds for termination. I am holding out though, as I firmly believe out civil rights advancement will subsume my workplace with equality.

Nonetheless I am still moving forward with my transition. I plan on FFS around December of this year and Yeson voice surgery next year (hopefully). I have a long way to go but as long as I move a little closer every day then it's enough to make it through even some of the difficult times. Everyone here seems great and part of a very positive forum, so I can't wait to get to know everyone.
