Hello.  I have been giving some more consideration to Dr. Kim of late, as I'm having much the same problem that Jenny described in her initial post - my female voice is fairly decent, but I'm not particularly thrilled with it and also I have a terrible time using it around friends.  It's so strange and I've never been one for stage fright (quite the opposite) but it really is difficult and leads to me either lapsing back into guy mode or simply not talking much at all, neither of which is acceptable.

Anyway, I'm concerned about recovery due to my job.  I'm a veterinarian and spend all day speaking with clients.  I got an email back from Jessie at Yeson today, saying that after 4 weeks I should be able to return to normal conversation.  I get the feeling from posters here that that may be a little optimistic, but I was hoping for clarification.  So, for those that have been there - how useful was your voice at 4 weeks?  I'm not concerned with it being perfect at that point by any means, but I really do need to be able to use it for 8 hours at a time without it failing or (worse yet) impeding my recovery.

Also - for those who are considering Seoul, check out Airbnb.  If you don't mind giving up the comforts of a hotel, it looks like there are some excellent deals to be had there.  Thanks in advance for any advice/input.

I also noted that it was 4 weeks. Some other points which slightly worry are obtaing cancellation insurance because an operation would be cancelled with any signs of a cold. Post op recovery ..here I am thinking of having to keep quiet whilst breathing in any air pollution.

I have the same issues.
