What did you first buy that officially set the ball rolling on transition?

I bought a medium acid peel for skin texture and http://www.folica.com/One_Touch_Hair__d105.html to remove the wopping 126(counted) hairs from my hairy face(lol!) that I plucked this week. Which happened to set me back about $100 USD.

A sensible pair of shoes.

Haha, no actually it was hormones, without a prescription at the time.

A week after coming out to my two closest girlfriends (they were the first people I came out to), they took me to Kohl's and I bought $120 worth of clothes.

Can't remember which was first; a couple of colorful wrap skirts and a therapy session. Both together cost under $100 though, I mostly shop at thrift stores  ;D

This is a recording.  Hormones.

Annie I ruined the needle from the unit you discussed within minutes.  I then ruined the backup needle a few minutes after I ruined the first needle.  I then came up with another solution that I will not discuss.

I think I need to write a book entitled: "How to work really hard transitioning and never get there."

Yeah, I had waxing done. Full Leg $40 and Underarms $13. That was three years ago.
The girl that did the waxing never even wondered why I would have my legs and underarms waxed. That made me feel more comfortable, so I've been going there ever since.

Is there a way to purchase hormones without prescription?  ???

I do not support getting hormones without a doctors prescription.  It is just too dangerous.

I know, I wouldn't because I'd be too afraid to do something bad to my body that is irreversable... I was just wondering if it was legally possible.

Yes, but I highly recommend against it.

I don't support it either, but I will be doing it anyways.
