Came out to my mom and sister. Neither fully support me but are not completely against me. I am a full time college students who starts her first job in the spring, and it's a low paying part time job tutoring math at school. I don't have a car. I've been to a local support group a few times and made some trans friends (one in particular) who I can talk with openly. I've asked the group their advise but no responses as of yet. I've contacted local lgbt friendly physicians but none take my insurance (prestige health care) which is a medicaid insurance. I am on my last limb. I can't cope without hormones for much longer. I need help.
thanks to everyone

Stop by the local planned parenthood and they might help or point you in the right direction.

Additionally, check out low-income, non-profit, (LGBT) health centers. First place I was prescribed hormones was from Whitman Walker Health Clinic in DC. I figure most places like them have a sliding scale and will work with you financially. I was in a similar boat and they really came through for me. Best of luck.
