There were several studies that showed that using the patch in prostate cancer patients did not increase cardiovascular and thromboembolic risks and they even stated in conclusion, in one of their papers, that the patch protected against the risk of thrombosis. So, I guess that's good news. 🙂 Transdermal has also been shown to be safer than oral, especially those non bio-identical hormones in both transwomen and ciswomen. Perhaps more studies need to be done to be sure but for now, they seem safe enough.
