I called a local spa and asked to speak to a manager. I explained that I'm beginning to transition and wanted to get some services done there like a mani/pedi, waxing to clean up my eyebrows, and more as I go more into transitioning and asked if I could expect to be treated with kindness and dignity. Not only was she very emphatic that I would but she told me one of her staff is transitioning so they are very sensitive to our needs.
I made an appointment for Saturday.
