androgynous names for school?

ok, so i'm FTM and my name is jason and i'm starting in a new school in August as "female" with people that i knew before i transitioned, and it would be really awkward for me to go as a clearly masculine name with people who knew me as female, but i couldn't handle going by my birth name, so i thought hey why not just go as an androgynous name for these next few school years, as much as i hate that i have to, it's better than going by my birth name.

i'm having some trouble finding some i like though, currently i have one on my list, Devon.

i'm not really a fan of the "uncommon" ones that don't really sound like real names (i'm tired and it's only way i know how to describe it sorry) and im just very frustrated with this whole situation and not being able to find some i like.

can anyone think of some nice androgynous (or leaning to the masculine side) names to use?

How much dysphoria does your birth name give you?  If these people who knew you before your transition see you as "female" they are going to have a load of trouble not using your birth name.  If it gives you a lot of pain I would pick something a bit more on the male side...

You could use Aaron (spoken it sounds a lot like Erin).  Or you could go out on a limb and use Stanley.  At first blush that does not sound androgynous at all; but, it was the legal first name of the mother of the current President of the United States.  You could say you picked the name in honor of her.

Danny is the first one that comes to mind

I had an ex who's cousin was named Tommy, not Tom or Thomas. So it is not that uncommon for people to be named after what is normally used as a nickname. This name is also a good way to see how people are perceiving you, if they ask short for Daniel you know your passing, Danielle? you still have some work to do

Since your name is Jason, you could try something like Jace. Or, you could steal my name and go with "Alex", heh. I actually have a coworker named Alex who's a girl, and our other coworkers are constantly confusing the two of us because we go by the same name- we ended up just calling me "Alexander" instead.
