nail polish

Hello wonderful people,

I am looking for advice on nail polish. I would like to start having (wearing? sorry not English) nail polish on my nails on an every day basis, which means in male mode mostly. I don't mind if it's a bit noticeable (would love have people think or wonder) as long as it isn't plain obvious. So what colour or way to do this is a good start?

Would say neutral browns to clears that you could light tint with a color.

Basic black is always a good start, or red or pink if you have a young daughter or niece. (We did hers and she wanted to do mine. Yeah right ).
What is your personality like, I have colour my hair red with another colour running through it every few weeks. This has let me do any colour on my nails or glitter in guy mode and get a "yeah that's you" "that's just him"

This is new for me to wear in male mode so I want to start it carefully. I need a soft and not-easy-to-notice colour
Think I'll try some light pink first and if that empowers me to do more I'll get me a darker colour

Definately black if you are presenting male or androgenous.

Colorless or Clear
That way it isn't to much of a risk taker especially at work
I wear clear polish every day and no one has said anything

Clear would work, I did that for a while, but found I usually ruined it pretty quickly.
I tried it for a while to stop nails splitting whenI used to play piano a lot.  It didn't help, but they did look pretty...

These days I just try and keep them neatly manicured, no polish.

clear or a pearl topcoat works well, and it strengthens your nails too, especially if you are trying to grow them a bit longer.

Well I have to keep my fingernails short but black is pretty basic for guys if they wear it. I personally like the chrome colors. But I love darker reds and coral too.

Thanks for the suggestions! I will get pink and clear for 'outside'..

I frequently look for colourful nail pictures and this triggers me to start.
