I didn't spot a thread like this posted recently so I thought I'd start one up.

Does anyone know any good tricks to deepen a feminine voice? Maybe good videos or tutorials? I've got a tiny, mousey, girly voice that is a big source of dysphoria  :-\

Hi there,

other than T, unfortunately no... I'd also discourage attempts to force loud and low sounds, it's not good for the vocal cords.

I know there are some youtube videos out there for this because I've talked to multiple people who believed they were useful.

I'm going to assume that you prioritize the integrity of your vocal cords maybe a bit lower than your social presentation right now, so I'll say that I was able to modify my voice before hormones. I didn't do anything dramatic or that would attract attention, I just stopped using the higher voice I had gotten used to using when trying to be a woman. It took practice but made a big difference.

I've come across exactly one good YouTube source for voice exercises: Jay Miller, who is an actual voice coach. He also has a website and offers online voice lessons, but he has several useful videos. (He's many notches above all those "boom your voice" clowns...)

Thanks for the link! I know I've seen a LOT of FtM "voice training" videos but, you're right, they're not all that helpful and some don't sound very healthy.  But I can see how with some practice Jay Miller's videos could be really helpful :)

here's the ones I really like:
