Finally started HRT

Well it has been a tough year so far, a dwi, living at a treatment center and not working. I also had two suicide attempts. My therapist has finally convinced me to start hrt. which I have been doing since monday. I was hesitant to start because i have been living at a rehab facility with other veterans who have made numerous negative remarks about Trans women and gay people but now realize that my happiness and life are more important than getting talked about. I don't get online much because only get to a computer when I come to the VA. HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING GREAT!!

I am glad that you are taking advice and starting hrt.  You will quickly see if it provides the benefits that your therapists anticipate.  I suspect that you will find yourself in a much better place from which to determine how you wish to move forward.  At the end of the day it is your life and you need to live this in the most powerful way possible.  I wish you well and look forward to hearing how things are going when you next stop by.
