John Scalzi Talks on subject of Transfolk in Old Man's War setting

Having recently read old man's war again, I was inspired to shoot an email to the author asking him about the possibility of trans people in the setting of the story. he replied with this link:

here's the takeaway: Yes, there are transfolk in the OMW universe; no, it's not a problem for the CDF/Colonial Union that they are trans.
