I'm not sure if I should note this might trigger something or not, but just in case, you are warned.

Well, I just wanted to know since well, last night I had a nightmare last night that I get regularly. It starts out randomly, but they tend to end the same. With me starting a massive crimson title wave (shark week, period or what ever it should be called xP)
It's not very pleasant at all... If anything, it gets my dysphoria to skyrocket those mornings. I don't know, I know that it does not really seem scary but after those sort of dreams I usually wake up all sweaty and my stomach twisting and turning.
But yeah, the dream sort of has always made me wonder if I am the only one who has nightmares like that.

I've had a nightmare that a boob grew back. Not fun.

Ugh that's massively awful. Occasionally I had intense nightmares but it's very rare nowadays, and is generally correlated with how dysphoric I feel to begin with in my waking life.

I never had period dreams, but I've always had dreams about being a boy and having that challenged. Lots of weird dream logic somehow ties together narratives that often end with my trying to simply stay clothed or otherwise protect my public identity.

Leading up to top surgery I had a dream that one was gone/had been surgically removed (awesome) but the other inexplicably got HUGE (horrible). Then there were the "I left the house but somehow forgot to put a binder on" dreams.

I had a nightmare like this. My cousin's boyfriend decided I wasn't a guy even though he'd never met me and it turned out the twins were right there on my chest. Like they weren't there and then he said "you're a girl" and boom! Boobs. It sucked.
The more I know, the more I know I don't know.

I have variations on a theme, the theme being post-bottom-surgery-me being chased by someone with a huge knife, wanting to either castrate me or to cut it all off.

Sometimes I have bad dreams where I get penetrated vaginally which is one of those things that bothers me so much.  I'm not bothered by the idea, but whenever something goes up there it feels so gross and wrong to me.

I tend to get random dreams that I was born a cisguy and am a little older.. I'm tall, handsome, and with a dapper beard that's just beginning to fill out. Of course, I know those things will never happen.. oh well.

I rarely have nightmares. I think I can count the amount on one hand.
But one I do clearly remember. I was pregnant in it. I woke up in a sweat, completely out of it because it was so horrible.

I liked being pregnant, but it was also the thing that definitively turned me toward trying to be a "real" female for a long time, and my uneasiness about my gender authenticity I think fueled some messed up dreams at the time. The most vivid nightmare I can remember was that I was in a cheesy black-and-white horror film about my baby called "Evil is Thy Name." I was sitting on a couch watching the movie with a friend for part of it, and living part of it. The baby came out shriveled and burnt but alive and out for blood, and the movie portrayed me as a "fake" woman, like a pod person or something. I remember talking to friends about it, and they all assured me that nightmares about being a bad parent or having an abnormal baby were standard fare, but it was still hard to shake that dream off.

I still have a lot of nightmares, but they're usually about common things like drowning or being chased, or non-gendered experiences like trying to survive in bombed cities or fighting vicious androids. The gender-related dreams I have now can be unpleasant but rarely rise to the level of nightmares.

most of my nightmares are about past abuse but I did just have one like devention did. I was passing just fine and very male and then someone said "your a girl" and poof, there I was without a binder and with long hair and everyone was looking at me.

I had a top surgery dream pre-top surgery. Basically that after all the preparation, he wouldn't do the surgery for some reason. I've heard this is very common. It's kind of the naked and haven't done your homework for a whole year type dream.

I still have these nightmares where I get that time of the month. Weird.
