Hello all. :) I am in a lesbian relationship with an amazing girl who is in the midst of transition. She's full time and has been for quite a while - pretty much as long as I've been in her life. Usually, I'm able to at least sort of help her overcome some of her dysphoria, but lately her voice has been causing her a lot of grief. She thinks that she sounds like an effeminate gay man, and that I'm just used to it and that's why I don't hear the same thing that she does (even though she only gets ma'am-ed on the phone). I'm trying to help her in any way I can, from trying to comfort her to finding youtube videos that are supposed to help you with your voice, and nothing is helping. I hate that she's in so much pain over this, and all I want to do is take it away from her and shoulder it myself. She isn't talking to me at all at this point (she's just writing and making gestures). Any ideas as to how I can be of help?
