I don't let anybody see me without makeup.  This is because without it I look like Frankenstein.  With it I look like Penelope Cruz.  (I'm joking about half of this.)

Without makeup i look like a man. So i do need it even for bringing out the waste ...

I don't even care

a)Make up is expensive

b) There is no biggest pleasure for me than having a clean face

c) The only persons that knock at my door are delivery boys I'll never see in a long long time.

The worst part was when I was caught in the middle by the old guy that checks the water counters once very three months. I was dressed, I had my makeup donde, but my hair pulled away showing my male hairline before putting the bangs extension.

I really don't care. In fact, I never put makeup for small movements in-town and go with my oldest clothes. Grocery shoppings, drawing money for the ATM...

Sure, why not? I have no problem with it. 75% of the time I go out without a stitch of makeup on. I've been passing with or without it for years now. And in this Florida heat and humidity a clear face just feels better, and cooler.

I'm pet-sitting at my boss' up in the mountains. Yesterday a neighbor approached me with his shotgun. He said he wanted to make sure I was safe and that no other vehicle was here because his dogs barked when I passed. I was in my work scrubs and had makeup on.

Today he knocked but I refused to answer because I look like a man without makeup and flat, short hair. I texted him I was in the tub to sway him away. Awkward. I felt so bad afterward because he seemed very nice and is just protective of his neighbors. He said he knocked to apologize if he scared me with his gun last night. My coworkers happen to know him and say although he's an ex-Military sharp shooter, he's a good redneck.

But I don't think he knows I'm trans and even that he seems like a good guy, I'm not risking to meet his gun.

Just wondering if some of you are like me and won't answer a door without dolling up some...

First off Christina, you look like Taylor Swift and I absolutely hate country music. I really hated saying that since I am a metal girl all the way. :embarrassed: If that is you centered in your avatar I really don't think you have too much to worry about with our without makeup.

Yes I have ordered pizza and have had to come to the door without makeup, wet hair and wearing short shorts and tank tops. Who cares? Have you ever seen a lot of cis women especially all the "Hollywood Beauties" without makeup? Trans women any day would beat them in the beauty department without makeup. Some of these "Hollywood beauties" that all the guys go ga ga over are just plain hideous. Sometimes you just got to. Any woman looks better with makeup, that's why the good lord gave us the intelligence to create it ;D but don't let it define you. Good god Cameron Diaz without makeup? Bad skin and all. I have a funny feeling you wouldn't be as bad as her without makeup. Besides it's way more about confidence and the air of femininity than anything else.

I never wear make up. It's too expensive and I just think it's stupid. I'm not a girly girl by any stretch of the imagination.

And Laura, thanx for Saturday with my little breakdown. :embarrassed:

It's kind of weird that you say that. (Not saying that like I'm offended so don't take it that way. Unless my mind is just being weird at the moment...I don't know.) You HAVE seen my pic that's around here, right? If not I will pm it to you. I don't know...I consider myself to look pretty andro at times.

I don't even answer the door.  If someone in my neighborhood comes to my door that I'm not expecting, it's never anyone I'd want to speak to anyway.  Salespeople, real estate agents and JWs can all go f themselves.

:D You meanie.

BUT I have to say, there was one day when I was pretty cruel. A guy from Comcast stopped by and was bugging me about signing up. I started to laugh at him and said "get the f--- out of here". Yeah, it was mean, but I hate that company. He knocked on the door across the hall and I opened the door and informed him that (while I was still laughing) that "no one lives there".

Yes, plenty of times. I don't worry about it, if I scare them off, fine too.

Hey, makeup is actually a bit fun. I rediscovered it now an use a little bit of it for the eyes and it acutally does male me look a bit mor beautiful and a bit more fem. So it took me 12 years or so to figure out that it does not have to be like a mask :P ;)

I've seen your pic. I think you're very cute and pass as female 100% in my eyes. :)

Right. My mind has been a tad fragmented from thinking about a ton of different things in the last couple of weeks.

Hi,

To me its about how to look stupid and a fool  so no i dont use makeup even though i did 2 years learning what was good and looked lovely  and  Health and Beauty with 7 other women , and what you see  in my photo is what every one see,s plus been interviewed for two TV stations Nation wide,

My facial features dont suit makeup and im better off with out it ,

the good thing is im very well known and why should i hide my face any away ,
any way Jos and our grandchild got down on what makeup i had  and i wont replace it , i travel over sea,s and seen by many 1000.s of people so i think its a bit late now to worry about how i look

...noeleena...
Hi. from New Zealand, Im a woman of difference & intersex who is living life to the full.   we have 3 grown up kids and 11 grand kid's 6 boy's & 5 girl's,

Yes!  I would.  The only time I need to answer my door I have to drag my ass out of bed to sign for packages, so that kinda draws a line through makeup.  Oh, and the religious types probably could do with their world shaken up a little.
Body... meet brain.  Now follow her lead and there will be no more trouble, you dig?

Yeah. Unfortunately I know and you are cute. I just don't want to say that in case Portia Porcupine gets jealous. And I hate getting stuck with quills. Unless its getting stuck with the Quill my BF has. ;) Fragmented minds. OMG girl friend you want to talk about fragged minds and thinking. When people normally say," I have halfa' mind" and then whatever I say, "So what? I what, I grew up in the eighties and I only have half a mind left." that makes 'em think. ;) and me too. :o Oh well, I wouldn't change it for the world.  Actually I am listening to ACDC now, with a whole bottle of port wine left. Can we say all nighter? ;D
