I'm hoping there is a single soul in CT who can help me with some questions I have regarding starting my transition. I've been doing research, but I haven't been able to find much and previous drs I've seen haven't been much help either. Any help will be very helpful.

I'm about 45 minutes away from the NY state line. I live in Shelton in Fairfield county. It's nice to know there are living people close even if it's a stones throw away.

I'd hesitate to call it organized, but there's a fairly good community that manages to make stuff happen. I don't know of anything in the New Haven / Bridgeport area, but there are a couple groups in the Hartford area. If you want some details or just want to chat about stuff in the area send me a PM.

Yeh I've read about the groups in Hartford and there are some in Stamford too. A weee bit far though since I don't have my own ride. :P

A friend of a friend of mine is ftm and grew up (I think) in Mystic.  Not sure if he is even still in CT though. If you can't find other help I could ask my friend to ask him if he has any suggestions for your part of CT.
