After coming out to my wife just over two weeks ago I have been on a bit of a rollercoaster. The first week was very exciting, being able to shave more areas, not having to hide some of my clothing etc. Then, early this week I started to think that this was enough and even talked to my gender therapist that maybe I wouldn't need to do HRT (I am on track to start in February)  the yesterday I started to feel a real urge to move forward and last night I had a wonderful dream that I was transitioning and I woke up today feeling awesome. I'm confused. Anybody else go through this kind of stuff? Any advice?

Maybe you're still undecided whether HRT is really right for you, as sub consciously you're surprised coming out went so well. Maybe take a few weeks to think about it and remember HRT isn't permanent, you can always stop, you are who you are after all.

Welcome to Susan's

I questioned if I needed ( I wanted for a very long time) HRT up and through 3 weeks after being on HRT. At that point I knew I would not go off hrt. There are so many benefits other than physical and it is amazing for dysphoria. Oh, the boobies are nice too :)

Dysphoria is a roller-coaster and for me continued to get worse. Each thing I did reinforced who I am. HRT helps greatly to reduce dysphoria.
