Questions for those of you who've had surgery with Garramone

I am wanting to get surgery with Dr. Garramone by this Christmas. I should have the money by then. And quite frankly I can't take being like this anymore. I need top surgery. I have two questions.
1. Will the 500 dollars for the consultation or whatever and to get a date be counted towards the total cost of surgery or is that separate?
2. Do you think that if I make the consultation within the next few weeks that I'd be able to have surgery by December? Or is he booked a ridiculous amount so that I'd have to wait way past that time?

Forgive me for commenting as I haven't have top surgery with him, but I plan to in the future.

As to your first question, I believe the $500 non-refundable fee will go towards your total amount for top surgery so if you are getting the D.I. for $6900, the $500 will go towards that.

As for your second question, I'm not too sure.  It's possible, but from what I've heard, it seems that A LOT of guys book surgery in December, particularly guys in college because they get their winter break and can have surgery and recover in that time.  Plus, as from what I know, many guys get it done around that time so that can be more healed during the summer to show off their chest.  Since it's 4 months out, I'd say it's worth a shot to book then, but you should do that ASAP.

Hopefully the guys who have actually had top surgery with him can chime in and correct me if I'm wrong, but what a lovely Christmas gift that would be if you could get surgery then!

1. The $500 is non-refundable and is taken off the total amt for top surgery. The $500 basically locks in your surgery date (you can consider it locked on both ends, they won't change it but neither can you).
2. No, surprising he does so many top surgeries that he is not booked up a ridiculous amt ahead of time. I got in about 2 months from when I had my consultation. I think December and March or April are particularly busy for him because he has many students who get their surgeries then. I would give myself extra time if I wanted a week during a break. It didn't matter to me, I pretty much got a date I wanted.

Other notes: Pathology charges are paid to his office and are $400. This used to be in a check that came later. It could be more than that or less, so that's something to consider. You pay the surgery center directly and when I had surgery it was $1300.
