I know, it's a real shame. He was one of my favorite comedians, he'll be missed

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain, I like watchin' the puddles gather rain.

Despite all my rage, I'm still just a rat in a cage

I don't normally care about famous people but I admired Robin Williams a lot. It's so sad.

This is beyond sad. It's not the news itself that brought tears to my eyes, but the outpouring of love and support I'm seeing all over the internet right now. I did not write these words, but I feel them all the same:

QuoteBangarang, Peter. May you find Neverland. Thank you for teaching me how to fly.

I hope he can see/hear/feel this, wherever he is now.

This is so sad! Especially since he suffered from much of the same things this entire community suffers from.......Depression!

I don't care how much money, fame or whatever else you have in life, nothing will cure depression if you don't get help.

Mrs. Doubt fire is one of the funniest cross dressing or just plain movies I have ever seen, I don't even consider it a cross dressing movie....just damn funny!!!

Such a funny funny man....and hairy!!! RIP Robin :( :( and an LOL  :icon_yikes: :icon_yikes: cause that's what he made us do so much!!

No words can really explain how truly sad this makes me feel. He brought a smile to my face in the darkest of times.

This had me in proper tears this morning. I don't cry like I used to now that I'm on T, but they were certainly flowing freely this morning when I woke up to the news.

I'm a child of the 1970s and Mork & Mindy was the craziest, most exciting thing on TV when I was young. And then Robin started making movies and he just kept getting better & better.

I remember watching in awe as he came into his own in such classics as Dead Poets Society, The Fisher King and Good Will Hunting. My kids, of course, will remember him from Aladdin, Flubber and Jumanji. And of course, few will forget his role in Mrs Doubtfire.

Damn that black dog. It's taken too many good people this year.

We are the richer for having known and laughed with him. We are the poorer for his passing.  A little laughter has left this world.

Didn't know he died until reading this post, there goes my childhood too :'(

His movies were a significant part of my childhood, too. It's hard to believe he's gone. :'(

I need to go back and watch them again. He brought a lot of joy and laughter to my life.

I'm definitely doing this. Tomorrow I've got a marathon scheduled of Hook (my personal favorite), Bicentenial Man, then Good Will Hunting and Dead Poets Society.

It's amazing what impact that one man who most of us never knew personally can have on our entire society. I seriously wonder if he did know, in his last days, how much he meant to all of us.

Oh good lord, yes. That one, too. Definitely one of the best. :)

I guess this is a TEN hour marathon instead of eight. :D

I believe in celebrating the life of someone who has passed rather than mourning the loss. I'm going to be binge watching everything I can get my hands on that Robin Williams was in very soon. He was a wonderful person who deserves to be remembered for all the times he has made us laugh and cry, and not for the way he left us.

Because its genetic makeup is irregular, it quickly changes its form due to a variety of causes.

Robin Williams was of of the greatest imo  8)  Met him a couple of times while on break when I worked as a chauffeur in the bay area, he'd be be boppin' around in a Hawaiian shirt, khaki shorts and sandals

He never skipped a beat, tell a couple of jokes, poke fun at my 'monkey suit', tell me something philosophical but funny and go be boppin' along
